Meet Nam – The Auntie Kitchen Show

Meet Nam!

On The Auntie Kitchen, Nam joined me to teach authentic Thai dishes, bringing her knowledge, culture, and warmth into the kitchen. Outside of the show, Nam is a skilled aesthetician, combining her passion for beauty and wellness with a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach. Whether she’s sharing recipes or caring for her clients, she brings the same level of intention and care into everything she does.

What Nam Taught Me

Having Nam on The Auntie Kitchen was such a special experience. What I loved most was how effortlessly she brought her background, her knowledge, and her personality into the kitchen. Through her, I learned that Thai food, especially street food, is all about balance, simplicity, and understanding flavor.

  • Thai Street Food Insight: Nam taught me so much about Thai street food and how deeply it’s rooted in everyday life in Bangkok. The flavors are bold, but the techniques are often simple and approachable once you understand the basics.
  • From Bangkok to the U.S. Nam is originally from Bangkok and moved to the United States as an au pair. Over time, she built her life here, bringing with her the culture and traditions that continue to influence everything she does.
  • Her Path to Aesthetics: After working in corporate, Nam followed her passion and became a certified aesthetician. What makes her truly special is how gentle she is with her clients and how deeply she listens, always customizing her approach to fit each person’s needs.
  • A Love for Animals: Nam has such a soft heart, especially when it comes to animals. She has many pets and treats them like family, which says so much about who she is.
  • What Makes Her Special: More than anything, Nam is simply a joy to be around. She’s warm, easy to talk to, and brings such a positive energy into every space. It was truly lovely having her on the show and learning from her.
